So my term break (aka March holidays) just passed and here I am blogging about the happenings of my boring life to whoever's here to read :-) So basically term break lasted about a week and I had to return back to school 3/5 days for SYF training! My other 2 weekdays were spent with the familia as per usual.
Firstly, my IKEA adventures!!! When I was younger I used to mad love going to IKEA for the comfy environment and now that I'm older I think I go there more for the food instead. So a week prior to the holidays, my brother told me he had a craving for IKEA food and since Jeremy hasn't tried the canteen food we decided to plan a day to head over! We managed to head down on Tuesday when I had a break from dance.
SO if you guys didn't know there's this shuttle bus service (or FREE bus as Jeremy likes to call it) from Tampines (and some other places) to IKEA/Giant/Courts! So it was pretty convenient for us, though the weather was simply unpleasant.
If you ever head down to IKEA and NOT have a taste of their canteen food, YOU'RE HONESTLY MISSING OUT! The food there is heavenly and quite worth the money. The 3 of us spent about $50 in total on just the food at IKEA! Goodness Jeremy and Brandon wouldn't stop eating I swear. TIP: If you ever happen to be eating there, give the Almond Butterscotch Cake a try! I promise it'll be heaven in a slice of cake!
And that pretty much sums up my day at IKEA! :-) Also, we went to meet up with my mum for dinner that night and went around to get my new specs done! I got it the day after which is pretty fast since most shops will only have it ready after 3-4 working days.
Secondly, I spent my next available day with Jeremy and the boys! Initially we wanted to catch the new SpongeBob movie but there wasn't enough/good seats left when we went to get the tickets :-( But since Brandon and Nigel insisted they watch that we got them tickets while Jeremy and I caught Cinderella instead.
My outfit for that day was kinda similar to the one I wore for CNY, in place of my mid-skirt I wore a pair of high-waist shorts I got from BBK! and PS I am in love with my new specs!! I think it balances both NERD and STYLISH at the same time.
If you haven't noticed, I mad love taking pictures with a plain background. So if we ever decide to hang out there better be a goddamn plain wall near us for pictures :P
Bus rides with my boys are super entertaining!! The 2 rascals were taking time lapse videos the entire journey and they turned out pretty cool!! Ya and also Jeremy and I are pretty darned obsessed with my fish-eye lens so my pictures are pretty much fish-eyed. Oops?
OKAY picture vomit done!! :-))) (U think there's too many pictures of Jeremy and I? Sorry lor it's LIDDAT)
Jeremy was out of the country during the weekends hence I got to spend some quality time with my mother on Saturday! Initially the agenda was to head down to town to get a few things she needed but we ended up having a retail therapy. I bought quite a number of things; 1) a black laced bandage/pencil skirt from H&M. 2) a denim high-waist short from *Scape. 3) a vanilla scented body wash from B&BW. 4) a 3-in-1 fish-eye lens for Jeremy from *Scape Underground!
That's it!! It's currently a Sunday afternoon and I'm finishing up on my leftover homework and watching vlogs on YT! :-)) Thank you for temaning me everyone, have a blessed and enjoyable week ahead!! XOXOXOXO
